You keep the ticks away until the end of winter

There is still winter left in the southernmost part of Finland, and what could be better than enjoying a full-bodied red wine while enjoying the snowy landscape.

We put together a few delicious options from Italy, Spain and Australia, which we ourselves would also like to enjoy in good company at a restaurant dinner 🖤

From Veneto, we chose our long-term partner Mirko Sella's Pegasus Amarone della Valpolicella and Pegasus Valpolicella Ripasso Superiore, dark, spicy and wonderfully enjoyable classics.

The estate of Marques de Murrieta from Rioja needs no introduction - the title of the world's best winery in 2015, the title of the world's best winemaker for Maria Vargaksen in 2017 and Castillo Ygay 2010, chosen as the world's best wine in 2021, speak for themselves. Whether you choose Reserva, Gran Reserva, Dalmau or Ygay, you will not be disappointed.

When talking about thousands of ticks, Australia cannot be ignored. The Torbrecki estate, whose wines are almost entirely made by Finnish hands, ( read the story here ) offers the best of the Barossa region. Grapes from up to 150-year-old vines, minimal intervention and Ian Hongell's handprint create refined and precise wines.
