Order terms and delivery

In principle, we deliver orders placed in the capital region directly to the restaurants on the next weekday, when the order is placed on the previous weekday before 13:00 via Viinitie's online store. Orders placed after 13:00 will be delivered within 48 hours, however only on weekdays.
Orders placed outside the capital region are delivered according to Posti's delivery schedules. As a general rule, orders placed in the area of the largest cities are attempted to be delivered within one business day of the order, deliveries to northernmost Finland and sparsely populated areas are attempted to be delivered within 48 hours of the order.

No small delivery fee is charged for orders over €500 (including VAT). A small delivery surcharge of €30 (incl. VAT) is added to orders below this, and we do not deliver orders below €200 (incl. VAT). Viinitie has the right to charge a separate express delivery fee of €30 (including VAT) for same-day deliveries exceptionally arranged . However, Viinitie has no obligation to arrange deliveries on the day of the order.
Orders in Posti's distribution circle are basically delivered either as an Express package or as Express freight, which do not include a separate agreement on the time of delivery and are basically delivered before 4:00 p.m. For an additional fee of €30 (incl. VAT), the customer can choose Posti's additional service, in which case the delivery date and time will be agreed separately. Available days and times are determined according to Posti's delivery zones. You can check available days and times in Posti's cargo driving and time windows file.
Ordering and deliveries
We strive to deliver orders within the Helsinki Metropolitan Area the following weekday when orders have been made before 1 pm through the Viinitie webshop. Orders made after 1 pm we strive to deliver within 48 hours from the order, although only during weekdays.
Outside the Helsinki Metropolitan Area orders will be delivered based on the delivery schedule given by Posti. Big cities are mainly delivered within 24 hours on weekdays, Northern Finland and other more remote parts of Finland are mainly delivered within 48 hours on weekdays.

All deliveries over €500 (inc VAT) are delivered for free. All orders under that we add 30 € (inc vat) small delivery fee and orders under 200 € (inc vat) we do not deliver at all. Viinitie has the right to charge an additional fee of €30 (inc VAT) for orders wished to be delivered on the same day as the order has been done, however Viinitie has no obligation to organize deliveries for the same day.
Orders delivered by the Post are mainly shipped as Express packages or Express cargo. These deliveries do not include the service of contacting the customer and the order will be delivered directly to the restaurant before 4pm. For an additional fee of €30 (inc vat) customers can choose additional service from Post, where the day and time of delivery will be separately agreed on. The available days and times are governed by Post's delivery zones. You can check available days and times from Post's cargo delivery windows file. For these deliveries there will always be at least one additional day from order to delivery.

Express package / Express Freight
Express packages are delivered to the sender's stated address or Pick-up point within the time indicated in the Delivery Time Inquiry, with the most common contact intervals on the first business day from the date of submission, and otherwise no later than the second business day from the submission date. More detailed delivery time promises for each zip code can be found in Posti's Delivery time survey. The service includes one distribution company. If the recipient cannot be reached, the shipment can be picked up at Posti's Pickup point, and the recipient will be notified of the shipment's arrival electronically. The street address must be the recipient's official street address without additions.
Express cargo 21 / Home package
Posti will contact the recipient within 1–2 business days of receiving the shipment and agree on the delivery date and delivery time. If the recipient cannot be reached, a contact request is sent to the recipient. In the biggest cities, delivery is possible on weekdays until 21:00. In other areas, shipments are delivered by 4:00 p.m. Postcode-specific delivery times can be checked from the Delivery time survey. The service includes one distribution company. If the recipient cannot be reached, the shipment can be picked up at Posti's Pickup point, and the recipient will be notified of the shipment's arrival electronically. The street address must be the recipient's official street address without additions. Shipments are delivered to the recipient's address. One person must be able to transport the shipment to its destination using a forklift. Otherwise, the shipment will be unloaded in the immediate vicinity of the Posti vehicle. The service is available in mainland Finland to addresses with an uninterrupted road connection.

Complaints and returns of a defective wine product
Comments about faulty products must be made in writing. The note must state the nature of the error. Product liability for defects is limited to defects that the product must have already had at the time of purchase (such as a cap defect). There is no right of return or refund for products whose creation may have been influenced by, for example, the wine's unfavorable storage conditions (such as oxidation or variation in sensory quality).
Returns of consumer purchases
The consumer has the right to cancel the transaction within 14 days. In the case of cancellations, we apply the instructions of the Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority. Read more here .
For returns, the consumer must contact jengi@viinitie.fi. Title the message with the word "Online shopping return". In cases of returns, the refund is made to the payment method used in the order.
