Santa Vittoria
Located in the village of Santa Vittoria d'Alba, the Santa Vittoria winery is surrounded by picturesque scenery. So it's no wonder that these areas of Roero, Langhe and Monferrato were chosen as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2014. The area was underwater centuries ago, so the land formed by the old seabed consists of calcareous sandstone.
In its wine production, Santa Vittoria focuses on the native varieties of the region, Dolcetto, Barbera, Nebbiolo, Arneis, Moscato and Gavi. Together with modern winemaking methods, the farm's wines are individuals with pure character and nicely bringing out the characteristics of their variety.
Among the selections of Viinitie, you can find rose wine produced by Santa Vittoria, which is made as an idyllic partner for various shellfish and grilled mackerel. The wine has been made in cooperation with the award-winning fish shop Max from Espoo.
