Bassanoshiro

We are wine wholesalers, but also winemakers. During years of cooperation with producers, we have fallen in love with the aromatic white varieties of the Veneto region, which, in our opinion, best come into their own in the region's hillside gardens cultivated with organic methods. In the glass, these purely aromatic varieties offer gastronomic experiences, especially as a partner to flavors that differ from Western food culture.

Bassanoshiro combines Viinitie's love for wine and Japanese culture and the country's food. Bassanoshiro literally translates to "Bassa's white", because 'shiro' is Japanese and means white. This wine originates from the Garganega variety known in the Bassano del Grappa region. The perfect wine for clean food such as sushi and aromatic Southeast Asian flavors!
