Rheingau's elegantly matured pinot noir.

Terroir, production method and maturation: The grapes are collected from the Hinterkirch and Frankenthal orchards in Assmannshausen and the Magdalenenkreuz in Rüdesheim. The wine ages in steel tanks and matures in French Seguin Moreau oak barrels for 16-18 months.

Use: As a companion to pistachio-glazed chicken breast and roasted rice.

Description: The intense red fruit and spicy aroma has a bit of sophistication. The medium-bodied taste is silky with tannins, a little leathery, and mouth-watering aftertaste.

Krone

The Rheingau has been known as an important region in German wine production for centuries, because it was precisely there that the use of noble mold in the production of sweet wines was invented, the country's first wines classified as grand cru were created, and even Goethe wrote admiringly about the red wines of Assmanshausen. Already from the middle of the 16th century, there was a well-known inn called Krone in Assmanshausen, to which a winery and a 60-meter cellar were built in 1860.
