Densely fruity and deep wine made from grapes from a single vineyard.

Terroir, production method and maturation: The grapes are obtained from a 10-hectare area north of Mount Etna, from two vineyards to the north, in the village of Castiglione di Sicilia. Tarha is located next to Guardiola, but produces very different wines. Vines grow as bushes on wide terraces and their age is 40-100 years. The soil is deep and consists of volcanic ash. The area rises 700-850 meters above sea level. The wine ferments at 28-30°C and malolactic fermentation takes place naturally in French small and large old barrels, where the wine matures for 18 months. The wine rests for a month in steel tanks before bottling.

Use: With pork and semi-ripened cheeses.

Description: The scent is elegant and floral. The relatively acidic mouthfeel is mildly tannic and velvety. The taste palette is diverse and rich, and red fruitiness can be distinguished from it. The softness of the fruitiness is supported by a sophisticated structure.
