Dense, rich and ripe Cabernet Franc.

Terroir, production method and ripening: The grapes are picked by hand from the orchards of the Coteaux de Chinon region from the gravelly, sandy soil. The stems of the grapes are removed and the wine is allowed to ferment with the help of a natural yeast strain. The peels are macerated with the juice in concrete tanks for 25-30 days. The wine matures in large oak barrels for 12-18 months, and is not clarified or filtered before bottling.

Use: As a companion to duck leg confit.

Description: A dark and deep scent with ripe fruit and earthiness. The strong taste is layered and dense, and the noticeable tannins and the intensity of the fruit promise the wine a long life.
