An elegant and powerful palistariesling, where the influence of old vines is clearly felt.

Terroir, production method and aging: Organic methods. The grapes are collected from the central part of the Batterieberg, where the vines grow ungrafted. Fermentation with wild yeasts in a small old oak barrel. The wine matures on the lees for about 12 months. Residual sugar 2.9 g/l, acids 5.6 g/l.

Use: Fine fish and seafood dishes.

Description: There are plenty of tropical fruits in the bold scent and you can distinguish e.g. mango, passion fruit and melon. The dry taste is richly fruity, but at the same time also fresh and mineral. The wine has good acidity and the whole is intense and elegant.

Immich-Batterieberg

Immich-Batterieberg

Immich-Batterieberg is one of the oldest estates in the Moselle Valley: the estate's roots can be traced back to 1425. The most significant event for the farm located in the middle of the Mosel occurred in the middle of the 19th century, when the Immich family decided to modify the terrain and practically blew up an entire mountainside with thousands of kilograms of black powder into the sky.
