Semi-dry Spätlese from the top plot.

Terroir, production method and ripening: The grapes are hand-harvested in the village of Bockenau from a cool and steep vineyard, the soil of which consists of Devonian blue slate. The vines are 35 years old. The wine ferments spontaneously in steel tanks. Residual sugar 88.7g/l, acids 8.4g/l.

Use: As a partner for hot fish soup or mild cheeses.

Description: An open and attractive fragrance with ripe peachiness and flowers. The semi-dry taste is nicely balanced with the acidity of the wine, and the intensity also promises the wine aging potential.
