A tart and lively Barbera from a cult producer.

Terroir, method of production and maturation: The grapes are hand-picked from the Madonna di Como region near Alba. The shelters are located at an altitude of about 450 meters on sandy and calcareous soil. After crushing, the grapes are allowed to ferment and macerate for 8-10 days in cement tanks. The wine matures for 3 months in Vicardi's French oak barrels.

Use: Grilled meats, ribs, pasta al ragú.

Description: Classically pure Barbera with subdued dark berry and plum aromas. The taste is medium-bodied and darkly fruity, with the oak bringing structure to the wine. The whole is refreshed by a very noticeable acidity.
