One of Spain's oldest cult wines.

Terroir, production method and ripening: The grapes are obtained from vines planted in 1945, which grow in an area of 2.4 hectares in Laguardia, with the vineyard facing southeast. The area is located at an altitude of 480 meters and the deep soil consists of clay and limestone. The yield is 3500 kg/ha. The large bunches of grapes produced by the shelter are collected by hand in 10 kg boxes and sorted precisely. Before fermentation, the wine is macerated for 24-48 hours in a cool place. Fermentation takes place in open oak vats for 10-12 days. The wine undergoes malolactic fermentation and matures for 12 months in French oak barrels.

Use: With grilled t-bone steak, chimichurri and parmesan mashed potatoes.

Description: The multidimensional and deep aroma has dense fruit and plenty of spiciness, even pepper. The layered taste is at the same time dense and rich, as well as elegant. The wine opens up little by little in the glass, forming a refined whole that can withstand storage for several decades.
