A top wine named after the Scottish term meaning Lord of the Manor, i.e. landowner.

Terroir, production method and ripening: The grapes are picked by hand from the vineyard in Marananga, which was planted in 1958. One half of the vineyard grows on red soil and the other on dark clay soil. No artificial irrigation is used in the management of the shelter and the shelter is planted with vines obtained from Barossa Valley's own clone stock. Harvest quantities in the shelter are very limited. After fermentation, the wine matures for 36 months in French oak barrels.

Use: With grilled steaks made from raw cooked meat.

Description: The scent has a lot of aromaticity, dark fruitiness and sweet spiciness. The full taste is soft and mouth-filling, and in the long aftertaste you can sense both licorice and roasted espresso beans.
