Deep and plump Amarone from our friend from Venice.

Terroir, production method and maturation: Only 20% of the estate's Corvinone grapes are selected for the production of Amarone. The grapes are slowly dried for 100 days, during which they lose about 25-30% of their weight. After removing the stems, the wine ages in steel tanks at 26-27°C for about 10 days, followed by 10 days of maceration. After fermentation, the wine matures for 2 years in 70% French and 30% American barrique barrels, of which 20-25% are new. The wine then ages for another 12 months in bottle before being clarified, lightly filtered and bottled.

Use: A suitable cavalier for strongly flavored meat and cheese plates.

Description: The fresh berry scent has raspberry and cherry. The full taste is elegant, long and balanced like the smell.

San Cassiano

San Cassiano

The family farm of San Cassiano is located in the Italian province of Veneto in the famous keep of Valpolicella, Mezzane di Sotto. The grandfather of the current owner of the farm, 40-year-old Mirko Sella, Albino Sella, planted the first vines on the farm in 1959.
