A classic wine from one of the most famous plots of Alsace.

Terroir, production method and maturation: The grapes are harvested from a 12-hectare monopoly plot in Rouffach, located in the southern part of the Vorbourg Grand Cru vineyard. The vines grow on steep, south-facing terraces whose soil consists of clay and limestone. The grapes are pressed as whole bunches and the wine ferments spontaneously. The wine matures on the lees for a long time.

Use: Versatile wine with various fish dishes.

Description: Richly fruity and multidimensional scent. The taste is dry and intense, with acidity still dominating the whole. An exciting and long aftertaste and the abundance brought by lees maturation promise the wine a long life.

The village of Rouffach is located 15 kilometers southwest of the city of Colmar in the Haut-Rhin region. Michel Muré moved in next door Westhalten village in 1650 and became a wine grower, planting his family's first vines.
