An intense and cellarable Grand Cru wine.

Terroir, production method and ripening: The grapes are hand-picked from 40-year-old vines in an area of 0.75 hectares. The wine goes in steel tanks. 80% of the wine matures in oak barrels, some of which are new and some 1-2 years old.

Use: With salt-crusted whole fish and fennel potato salad.

Description: The intense aroma has ripe lemon, baked apple and toasted oak. The dry taste is strong and the mouthfeel is creamy. Concentrated acidity carries the wine for a long time.

Roland Lavantureux

Roland Lavantureux

The first wines produced in the 1960s from the vineyards of the Lavantureux family's village of Lignorelles were appropriately enjoyed among friends and family. After getting their share of the wines, Marine and Gervais Lavantureux started selling some of the farm's wines in classic 132-liter feuillettes barrels to the Auxerre and Paris regions.
