Top wine from Barolo's highest vineyard.

Terroir, method of preparation and maturation: The grapes are harvested by hand from the 40-90-year-old vineyard of Bricco delle Viole, located at an altitude of 400-480 meters and facing south, which is the closest of the vineyards of Barolo to the Alps. Most of the vines growing on calcareous clay soil were planted in 1949, the oldest plots being Michet and Rosé clones. The grapes are selected three times, first in the vineyard, then in bunches on the farm, and finally, after removing the stems, as grapes. Fermentation in steel tanks and spontaneous malolactic fermentation. The wine matures for 30 months in 25- and 50-hectoliter Slavonian oak barrels.

Use: As a companion to a chicken fryer.

Description: The fragrance has dried herbs and flowers, as well as red cherry. The full taste is elegant, the tannins are approachable and elegant, and the long aftertaste is slightly balsamic.

It all started with the May 1968 student protests. Together with his peers, 15-year-old Aldo Vaira, who grew up in a working-class family, decided to protest against the traditional Italian society based on capitalism and patriarchy.
