An elegant and precise Mosel wine from Christopher Loewen, who won the "winemaker of the year" title in 2017.

Terroir, production method and ripening: The grapes were hand-harvested from plots next to the Mosel River around the village of Leiwen. The vines, which are at least 50 years old and some even 70 years old, grow in soil covered with gray slate. The wine ferments spontaneously with the help of wild yeasts in temperature-uncontrolled steel tanks and matures for about 100 days on the lees until bottling at the turn of March-April. Residual sugar 10.5 g/l, acids 7.3 g/l.

Use: For fish and shellfish dishes, especially scallops, grilled fish and ceviche.

Description: A dry and elegant riesling, with a scent of apricot and honeydew melon. Eloisa's tart taste is citrusy and white peachy and overall mild.
