What we do at Viinitie is guided by our desire to bear responsibility for the environment, which is evidenced by the Ekokompassi certificate awarded to us already in early 2021.
Our desire to act responsibly extends beyond what we do to our producers, and a large part of our producers operate in accordance with various global or local environmental certificates, respecting nature and its diversity. Many producers are committed to environmentally friendly or organic farming and manufacturing methods, but have not necessarily certified their operations.
On our website, you can find information about possible organic or biodynamic certification for each product, and we have added detailed information about different certifications and their brief explanations to our price list for producers. You can familiarize yourself with the certificates from our latest price list .
If the product is made without ingredients of animal origin, this is labeled vegan friendly , regardless of whether the producer has a vegan certificate. In addition to environmental values, many of our producers operate in accordance with various certificates that consider social and financial responsibility, such as the Austrian Sustainable Austria certificate, which our top producer Fred Loimer is committed to.
