The Land Down Under, upea luonto, kengurut, Uluru, Sydneyn Oopperatalo sekä Barossan kuuluisa viinialue. Nämä asiat liitetään perinteisesti hyvin vahvasti Australiaan, mutta tuo toisella puolen maapalloa sijaitseva saarivaltio on paljon muutakin.
Alternative Australia Masterclass johdattaa kuulijansa tunnetuimpien MaLaren Valen ja Barossan viinialueiden sijaan muun muassa Victorian alueella sijaitsevan Nagambie-järven sekä Gippslandin rannikkokaistaleen maisemiin. Pistäydymme myös Australian viinintuotannon synnyinmailla Hunter Valleyssa sekä Länsi-Australian taianomaisen upeissa maisemissa Margaret Riverissä.
Tunnin masterclassin aikana pääsemme syventymään muun muassa biodynaamiseen huipputilaan Bass Phillipiin sekä jo vuonna 1860 perustettuun perhetila Tahbilik'iin.

The Alternative Australia Masterclass leads its listeners to the lesser known wine regions outside of South Australia. This tour will take you through the picturesque Nagambie Lakes and the coastal region of Gippsland. Also included is the Hunter Valley which was the first wine region in Australia. Last but not least, take in the stunning scenery of Margaret River in Western Australia.
During an hour long sit down masterclass, we will delve into, among other things, the biodynamic estate of Bass Phillip and the family farm of Tahbilk, which was founded in 1860. New wine from Leeuwin Estate and Tyrrell’s will also be featured in this journey across Australia.
